Russell Corporation Headquarters
Atlanta, Georgia
The Executive and Marketing Groups of Russell Corporation chose to relocate to Atlanta to provide easier access for their international customer base. The four and a half floors of the CityView Building they now occupy are a clear reflection of the company's corporate mission. The primary reception area, board room, 50-person meeting room, and “café” break area were located on the eighth floor to take full advantage of two exterior balconies. Two dramatic spiral staircases provide an easy connection between the floors for Russell employees and customers. Black Box “Shop-in-Shop” showrooms with track lighting were created for each of the apparel divisions. Varying store fixturing systems can be set up and easily changed for different customer constituencies.
Maple flooring, slate accent walls and a combination of anegre and mahogany were used to project a warm natural ambiance for this leading manufacturer of athletic apparel.
