Retrospective: The Rustic Elegance of Brasstown Valley
Brasstown Valley Resort and Conference Center Young Harris, Georgia
Rustic and refined at the same time, Brasstown Valley Resort is born of the architectural vernacular of the North Georgia Mountains. The main lodge and additional buildings were constructed with local materials. The entire project was designed with the land and its traits in mind, in order to minimize the impact on the natural location. Other amenities include an 18-hole golf course, clubhouse, game and activity rooms, indoor and outdoor pools and a health club.
The 106-room lodge also supports eight 4-bedroom cottages. Landscaping features colorful flowers, native trees and natural stone out-croppings. Extensive meeting and ballroom facilities offer easy access to food service and banquet management facilities.
